With a total of 2,005 X 1700-meters by 1700-meters (2.89 square kilometers) full orthoimage tiles providing imagery in blocks on the ground with no "no data" space, the total area of the project is 5,794.45 square kilometers (2,237.25 square miles). This project also includes 0.076-meter pixel resolution (approximately 0.25-foot), 4-band orthoimages that covers select areas within the State of Delaware park system for the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC), Division of Parks and Recreation. With each of the 116 X 1700-meters by 1700-meters (2.89 square kilometers) orthoimage tiles providing imagery in blocks on the ground, the total of the collective area is approximately 335.24 square kilometers (129.44 square miles). The 0.076 meter product is approximate in area because a "white data" space is present in areas outside the official boundaries of the delivery tiles. There is no image overlap between adjacent tiles. An orthoimage is remotely sensed image data in which displacement of features in the image caused by terrain relief and sensor orientation have been mathematically removed. Orthoimagery combines the image characteristics of a photograph with the geometric qualities of a map. The design accuracy is estimated not to exceed 1.52-meters NSSDA 95% confidence (0.88-meters Root Mean Squared (RMSE) Error XY (0.62 meter RMSE X or Y). The projected coordinate system is Delaware State Plane. The horizontal datum is NAD83 2011. The vertical datum is NAVD88. The units are in meters.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</idAbs>

<stepDesc>The digital orthoimagery is comprised of a 4-band true color and near infrared image that is organized in four bands or channels which represents the red, green, blue and near infrared (R,G,B,IR) portions of the spectrum. The 0.152 meter pixel resolution ground sample distance (gsd) orthoimagery covers the entire State of Delaware. The imagery was acquired between March 11 and March 29, 2022, and flown at an altitude of 2800 meters (AGL) using an UltraCam Eagle M3 camera. The 0.076-meter pixel resolution (gsd) orthoimagery covers select areas within the State of Delaware park system for the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC), Division of Parks and Recreation. The imagery was acquired between March 18 and March 21, 2022, and flown at an altitude of 1250 meters (AGL) using an UltraCam Eagle M3 camera. Imagery and GPS/IMU data is downloaded from disc on the plane to disc on the ground. GPS/IMU mission data is processed together with simultaneously collected ground-based GPS base station data in forward and reverse directions. This precisely determines the aerial camera's position and orientation in the terrain (project) coordinate system and allows for correct orientation of the imagery. The LiDAR DTM is then reviewed and updated as needed to meet the final orthorectification standards set in this project. Using the processed GPS/IMU data and correctly oriented imagery, a bundle adjustment is computed (AT). The imagery is orthorectified using the AT solution and LiDAR. The orthoimagery is then color balanced to the acceptable parameters established by the customer. Orthoimagery then undergoes manual quality control to check for issues as outlined in the Digital Orthoimagery Acceptance Criteria document. Issues such as warps, smears, misalignments, etc. are corrected using proprietary tools and Adobe PhotoShop. Upon completion of the QC process, the orthoimagery is provided to the client for review in uncompressed TIFF/TFW format. All imagery was processed in required projection: Delaware State Plane, horizontal datum is NAD83 2011, vertical datum is NAVD88, units are in meters.</stepDesc>
